Is it possible the effective date of hire (scalp) with TD Ameritrade?
I have a pretty good setup and I bought TD Ameritrade thinkorswim recently. I like his platform, but I have no idea how fast that its activities would be. This is particularly important if you want to start the scalp, which is largely based on transaction times faster. I know that the online broker is theoretically are much faster since I am connected with the specialist market maker / but this is not my question. Assuming I can use that TD Ameritrade would sufficient for this type of commerce? I can live with operations in five seconds instead of 1.
Day trading is not scalping. Speculation is a tick-commercial use. You can not scalp and make money for a fee to retail customers against dealers who are not working committees and companies members are directly linked to the bags. time your order reaches the agent, time does not matter because they are all connected to the system exchange. The delay is on your computer by your Internet service provider for the corridor. The delay is not the end of the corridor, the corridor is through the Internet. The shortcut is unrelated to market makers, is connected to ECN broker to go through the routing system. You still have to send their orders to a broker who will give you the privilege of direct access. Some do not want to give direct access to a customer because routing system defines certain safeguards for customers and clients without experience can have serious problems with direct access and anger against the driver. (I know how it works because I am an experienced trader and have been approved for direct access to my agent.)
